Role Description
The Electrical Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role oversees electrical installation and maintenance activities on commercial and residential new-build projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards. - Supervising electrical teams
- Coordinating tasks with site management and other trades
- Reviewing drawings and technical specifications
- Monitoring progress against project plans
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies
- Mentoring team members
- Managing materials and resources
- Contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery

Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills for commercial and residential installations.
- Solid knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices.
- Electrical engineering skills related to design interpretation, installation, and testing.
- Experience working with a range of electrical equipment and systems used in building services.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering).
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671) and strong commitment to health and safety.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role within the construction or building services sector.
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and strong problem-solving abilities.
