Electrical Supervisor – Long Bennington (FTC)
Equans are recruiting for a permanent full-time Electrical Supervisor to be based in Long Bennington.
About the Role
This position involves a full-time commitment (40 hours per week), with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day electrical contract operations. On offer is a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of engineers and contractors, ensuring all projects meet targets and objectives
- Lead the execution of electrical contracts, including managing direct staff and sub-contractors
- Ensure electrical certification is completed and processed to meet Equans’ and client requirements
- Monitor team productivity, resolving operational issues, and coordinating workload between direct and sub-contractors
- Optimise resource allocation (labour, materials, plant, and equipment) for efficient project completion
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific conditions, including performing audits and generating reports
- Ensure NICEIC electrical compliance across all projects, including annual inspections

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- JIB Gold card or a recognised equivalent Level 3 (NVQ3) electrical qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the electrical trade
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or related qualification
- Valid full UK driver’s licence
- Ideally experienced with the installation of Solar PV panels or working with NICEIC and external auditing bodies
Preferred:
- Experience with IT systems (bid management, project tracking, etc.)
