Electrical Supervisor – Residential Project (8-week Contract)

Contract Type: Freelance / CIS / Limited Company (as applicable)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a residential development for an 8 Week contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-organised project in its final stages, supervising the completion of high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electricians and subcontractors carrying out second fix electrical installations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of a plant room, ensuring all works are completed to specification.
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and project standards.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and programme to keep works on schedule.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate with the site management team and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Review drawings and identify any issues before installation.
  • Ensure all snagging items are completed and signed off.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of second fix installations and plant room electrical systems.
  • Valid ECS Gold Card (or equivalent).
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining programme deadlines.

Desirable

  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Experience managing finishing and handover phases of residential developments.
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
