Electrical Support Engineer

Our client is a global, leading specialist for intelligent drive technology and systems as well as tailor-made services. They are looking for a Electrical Support Engineer to join their growing team. The client offers excellent career progression and development, and the ideal candidate will have:

Job Details

  • Position: Electrical Support Engineer
  • Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 08:30am - 16:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm
  • Location: Croydon

Job Description

  • Manage Electrical tasks, testing protocols and issues in conjunction with the Senior Mech Eng and Head of Eng;
  • Conform to, own, develop and manage the Job Pack system for all electrically biased Job Packs;
  • Own and manage electrically biased Concessions & Engineering Changes (ECs);
  • Own the creation, review, development, certification and management of electrically biased BoMs;
  • Own the management of all electrically biased data, manuals, drawings, information, etc;
  • Determine, design/ select and reverse engineer electrical components, systems and test equipment;
  • Carry out electrically biased investigations, analyses, research and assessments to support NCRs, customer complaints, warranty claims, fault diagnosis, casualties, overhaul activities, creation of COIs, method statements, manuals, work instructions, RAMS, etc

  • Experienced engineer with a minimum HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) in an electrical/ electronics/ avionics (Electrically biased) engineering discipline;
  • Design experience and a good balance of general design engineering, reverse engineering.
  • Working knowledge and grasp of electrical fundamentals, principles and their application to products, fault diagnosis, analyses and design.
