Electrical Team Leader

Team Leader (Electrical and Facilities)

We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Team Leader (Electrical and Facilities) to join our team, leading the delivery of electrical services across our homes in Yorkshire.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements, while supporting your team to deliver a high-quality customer experience.


What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for overseeing a team delivering electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, monitor performance, and support your team to deliver excellent results.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and support a team of electricians and operatives
  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery and workload management
  • Monitor performance, set targets, and drive improvements
  • Ensure all work is compliant with regulations and safety standards
  • Carry out quality checks, audits, and performance reviews
  • Support training, coaching, and development of team members
  • Manage customer issues and complaints effectively
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Support resource planning and operational improvements

We’re seeking someone who is technically capable, confident in leading others, and focused on delivering exceptional service.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical services
  • Relevant electrical qualifications, including inspection and testing
  • Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Knowledge of compliance and health and safety standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing performance and improving services
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A strong commitment to customer service
