Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs production machinery to ensure an effective maintenance system and achieve the highest performance of production equipment.
- Diagnoses problems and troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems for the production equipment.
- Fabricates and/or installs electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
- Understands safety precautions and follows all safety procedures when completing work. Ensures that all equipment is safe before releasing to production.
- Able to perform simple fabrication of mechanical components using maintenance equipment for bracketry or installation modification of electrical devices.
- Performs all electrical preventative maintenance related to inspections, record results and reports as per procedure.
- Work on special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Electrical/Mechanical Certificate preferred
- 5 + years experience
- Must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
- Must demonstrate patience and consistent attention to detail.
- Must have good organizational skills and be a self-starter.
- Ability to read blueprints, use precision instruments (Imperial and Metric).
- Ability to read and interpret Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematics.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, active Electrical certificate or Electrical degree preferred.
Previous Experience:
In a Manufacturing or Automotive environment required.
