Salary: up to £45,000 per annum plus company vehicle and Veolia benefits
Hours: 43 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in a rostered out-of-hours and emergency call-out arrangement
Location: Mobile across London (mainly South London)

What you'll be doing:

  • Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, procedures, and EHS guidelines (both site and Veolia standards) while carrying out all work activities
  • Complete work according to schedules provided by the Site Manager and in line with site policies, procedures, and maintenance shutdowns
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment problems as directed by management, including PAT testing and electrical RAMS reviews
  • Complete all required site documentation before and after work tasks, manage asset lists, and support KPI achievement through timely work order completion
  • Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors during planned service maintenance and coordinate across all building locations
  • Participate in required training, audits, maintain tools and equipment in good condition, and ensure compliance with all electrical standards, regulations, and statutory requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems, motor control circuits, and VSD operation
  • Excellent hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair, with demonstrated knowledge of motors, pumps, LEV systems, cooling towers, ancillary controls, and deionised water plants
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and electrical drawings; understanding of instrumentation, controls, SOPs, and preventive maintenance systems
  • Proven experience working within documented Permit to Work Systems and compliance frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with a methodical and analytical approach; proactive attitude with good initiative and attention to detail
  • Computer literate with the ability to work effectively as part of a team; related mechanical experience is a distinct advantage
