About the Role
The successful candidate will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance team through exceptional planning, organisation, and communication. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely, timely, and to the highest standards.
Service users will benefit from a consistently safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment. The role supports the overall goal of providing high-quality, value-for-money maintenance services that contribute to the seamless operation of Trust facilities, enhance the user experience, and ensure a safe, compliant, and pleasant environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance team
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely, timely, and to the highest standards
- Provide expert technical advice
- Oversee complex maintenance activities
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance
- Diagnose and fix issues
- Oversee technical staff
- Work on various equipment
- Provide technical advice
- Help develop policies to keep safety and compliance standards high
- Conduct risk assessments
- Keep detailed records
- Take part in emergency and safety procedures
About the Trust
The Trust employs around 5000 staff and serves a local population of 1.1 million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. Currently, we provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
