About the Role
As water technologies experts at Veolia Group, we don’t just offer jobs—we build careers with purpose. We’re on a mission of Ecological Transformation, and we’re looking for a dedicated Electrical Assembly Technician to help us lead the charge.
This role is 100% site-based at our Peterborough Service Centre, which houses a large-scale regeneration facility and a fleet of over 100 mobile water treatment units, primarily fixed within trailers and containers.
As part of Veolia’s Water Technology Business, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to deliver innovative solutions for water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy—driving a more sustainable future.
Responsibilities
Your role will include:
- Fabrication, installation, and documentation of electrical systems
- Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage, and extra-low voltage electrical circuits
- Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment, identifying issues, and presenting technical solutions
- Configuration of instrumentation
- Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and relays
- Commissioning of special-build equipment, both electrically and mechanically
- Maintaining quality standards: performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repairs of all plant and field equipment
- Conducting electrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR, and PAT)
