Location: Peterborough Rate: £25.50 FCSA Umbrella (Inside IR35) OR £18.75 PAYE Duration: 12 months (Likely to extend) Shift Pattern: Mon - Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8pm - 3:30pm
Role Overview
Electronics and Instrumentation Technician to join a global automotive company in Peterborough providing technical and calibration support at their state-of-the-art Test & Development facility.

Responsibilities
- Electronics and Instrumentation Technicians are responsible for calibrating and maintaining the test facility, measurement instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring accurate, high-quality data to support automotive development and testing.
- Electronics and Instrumentation Technicians are also responsible for upgrading and commissioning the multi-million-pound automotive test facility, ensuring its world-class testing capabilities are delivered and maintained.

Requirements
- Strong electrical/electronic experience in a similar role.
- Problem-solving ability (Six Sigma tools, troubleshooting methods, etc.).
- Electronics and precision instrumentation knowledge.
- Understanding of wiring regulations and technical documentation.
