Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer
Location: Southampton, Dorset, Yeovil Salary: £38,000 + Uncapped Bonus (OTE c. £49,500)

The Role: Responsibilities
The Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer role involves:
- Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs)
- Completing:
- Emergency Lighting Testing
- Fire Alarm Inspections
- Mains Analysis
- Thermal Imaging
- Undertaking minor remedial repairs as required
- Completing reports and certification using cloud-based software
- Ensuring accurate and timely submission of all documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395
- AM2 qualification
- Experience in an electrical testing environment
- Experience with electrical installation or project work
- Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations
- Good IT literacy
- IPAF 3a & 3b licence
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)

- Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
