An Exciting Opportunity at Crestchic

As world leaders in load bank manufacturing and rental, we are pleased to announce a new opportunity. Join a company that has been operating for over forty years in Burton on Trent and with over ten depots around the world. We are looking for new individuals to join our manufacturing department and learn how to assemble and wire our units.

About the Apprenticeship

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What You'll Do at Work

As an apprentice at Crestchic, you will learn how to build our units from start to finish. This will include mechanically assembling the load banks using various sizes of fasteners to get them to a stage of readiness to start the electrical stage of the build. You will spend time at each stage of the build to get you to a level ready to move on to the next stage. You will receive support from Crestchic personnel who you will be working with every day. You will be from time to time working on your own, but with full support from a trainer.

Each day you will receive training from the team for the tasks given to you for that day. Eventually, you will move on to the wiring stage of the build, again you will receive training and will be working with the electrical team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
