Electrician

Role Description

As a Renewable Energy Electrician, you will install and commission cutting edge renewable systems including but not limited to Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Battery Storage Systems, EV Chargers and Heat Pumps. You will be required to communicate well with customers and conduct yourself in a respectful and neat manner at all times. This role will include a handful of paperwork, so being accurate and having a keen eye for detail will go a long way.

This job will be within a 90-minute radius of our base in Cleobury Mortimer, South Shropshire, with door-to-door pay.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of renewable and low-carbon energy systems including but not limited to; Solar PV, Solar Thermal, EV Chargers, Battery Storage Systems, and Heat Pumps.
  • You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure projects run smoothly and customer satisfaction is obtained.
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and other members of the team is essential for this position.
  • To conduct yourself in a responsible and respectful manner in customer properties at all times, and ensuring the property is left clean and tidy.
  • Communicate updates and commissioning of projects using Email, Whatsapp, GeoOp and/or Teams.

  • Obtained NVQ L3 and City & Guilds L3 in Electrical Installation, Commissioning and Certification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection.
  • 18th Edition Regulation.
  • A minimum of 5 years general experience in domestic installations, and preferably 2 years-experience in either Solar PV, EV Charger or Air/Ground Source Heat Pumps.
  • Full clean UK British Driving Licence.
