Job Description

Electrician

Location: Multiple roles - Yorkshire patch, Leeds, Sheffield covering surrounding areas including Harrogate and Barnsley

Rate: £21.93 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week

Call out: Out-of-hours rota with an additional £525 payment

We're currently recruiting for experienced and fully qualified Electricians to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, working across domestic and commercial properties throughout the Yorkshire area.

This is a great opportunity for a confident electrician who is comfortable working independently, completing testing and certification, and delivering a high standard of work across a varied property portfolio.

The Role Will Involve

  • Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works
  • Fixed-wire testing up to 230V
  • Completing electrical testing, inspection and certification accurately
  • Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Working across both domestic and commercial properties
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and information
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to current regulations
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
  • Taking part in an out-of-hours call out rota, with additional payment provided

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified Electrician
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391-52 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification
  • IET EAS recognised core technical qualification, such as C&G 2365 or equivalent
  • Experience completing electrical testing and certification
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
