Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Salisbury. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across a range of client sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections and testing, and completing accurate documentation of work carried out. The role involves working closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver safe, reliable electrical solutions, while following HSE&Q procedures and security requirements applicable to regulated environments.

- Strong foundation in electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
- City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Test.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and configuration of electrical components.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and associated systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and fault-finding in complex and regulated environments.
- Background or formal training in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Completed JIB or Armed Forces apprenticeship and fully meet the grade of qualified Electrician.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK wiring regulations (BS 7671) and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical documents, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility for security clearance; prior SC clearance or experience on MOD/JSP sites is an advantage.
