Licensed Electrician I

About the Role
The Licensed Electrician I is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings.
In This Role
Minimum Requirements
- Education/Experience: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
- Travel: 60–75% of the time
- Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. May include nights, weekends, and holidays based on demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains current licensing and training requirements.
- Analyzes blueprints and applies them effectively on the jobsite.
- Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems (conduit, lighting, control systems, motor feeders) in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Conducts toolbox talks, safety audits, and other safety functions.
- Provides technical assistance to field employees and mentors Helpers/Apprentices.
- Demonstrates ability to execute electrical projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety policies, reporting hazards promptly.
- Participates in hiring referrals and mentoring programs.
- Performs additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
