The Role

Are you ready to make a real difference in people’s lives while building a rewarding career? At Raven Housing Trust, we’re passionate about creating safe, healthy homes for our residents—and we’re looking for someone who shares that commitment.

Due to the continued growth of our housing portfolio, we’re expanding our Property & Estate Services team and are looking for two experienced Electricians to join us at this exciting time of development.

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and customer focus. At Raven, we empower our people to lead with purpose. You’ll join an organisation that values belonging, ownership, and collaboration—where your voice matters and your impact is felt across our communities. We’re proud of our inclusive, supportive culture and our commitment to professional development.

What you’ll be doing?

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused electrical service across Raven’s housing stock, including electrical inspections, installations, and maintenance to current legislative standards, whilst contributing to Raven’s wider multi-skilled trades team. You will:

  • Deliver safe and compliant electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied and empty properties, completing all jobs to current legislative and internal quality standards.
  • Diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs or replacements efficiently, ensuring a right-first time outcome that minimises disruption for residents.
  • Complete all job data on-site in real time using hand-held IT systems, enabling live job tracking, accurate cost control, and improved performance reporting.
  • Contribute to the out-of-hours emergency rota by resolving urgent electrical faults to protect customer safety and service continuity.
  • Ensure plant, tools and vehicles are in good working order and compliant with safety standards, to prevent downtime and support job readiness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
