Gigawatt Electrical Services team is looking for new electricians to help grow our team.

Location: A mobile role within the South West and Wales.

JOB ROLE

Full Time Electrician Required to assist us in our multiple contracts, covering Electrical and Fire Alarm, installation, maintenance, Testing & Inspection. The main duties of an Electrician include:

  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
  • Carry out fire alarm installation, maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults
  • Carry out electrical and fire alarm remedial works
  • Undertake new electrical inspections
  • To action reactive electrical works
  • To complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
  • Carrying out company works as required and to desired standards
  • Providing the highest level of customer care and always promoting a good external perception of the company
  • Complying with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service
  • Producing reporting on time and to agreed standards

ESSENTIALS

  • City and Guilds 2360 part 2/City and Guilds 2330 level 3 (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electro technical Systems
  • City & Guilds 2382 Requirements for Electrical installations BS7671 18th Edition
  • Be able to successfully gain military/Gov Security Clearance
  • Microsoft Office literate
  • Hold a clean driving license.
  • Confident working alone and within a team.
  • Be able to work an on call Rota

DESIRABLES

  • Fire Alarm Experience
  • IPAF and/or PASMA
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and certification of electrical Installations
