Gigawatt Electrical Services team is looking for new electricians to help grow our team.
Location: A mobile role within the South West and Wales.
JOB ROLE
Full Time Electrician Required to assist us in our multiple contracts, covering Electrical and Fire Alarm, installation, maintenance, Testing & Inspection. The main duties of an Electrician include:
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
- Carry out fire alarm installation, maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults
- Carry out electrical and fire alarm remedial works
- Undertake new electrical inspections
- To action reactive electrical works
- To complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
- Carrying out company works as required and to desired standards
- Providing the highest level of customer care and always promoting a good external perception of the company
- Complying with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service
- Producing reporting on time and to agreed standards

ESSENTIALS
- City and Guilds 2360 part 2/City and Guilds 2330 level 3 (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electro technical Systems
- City & Guilds 2382 Requirements for Electrical installations BS7671 18th Edition
- Be able to successfully gain military/Gov Security Clearance
- Microsoft Office literate
- Hold a clean driving license.
- Confident working alone and within a team.
- Be able to work an on call Rota
DESIRABLES
- Fire Alarm Experience
- IPAF and/or PASMA
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and certification of electrical Installations
