We are Global Guardians, the UK’s leading Property Guardianship Company with a mission to bring empty properties back to life for the benefit of local communities. We are dedicated to offering sustainable and affordable solutions for managing vacant buildings by placing working professionals as guardians into these properties, ensuring they are kept safe and secure.
We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based across various locations in London and the surrounding areas.
Your role will be to ensure that all properties managed under our guardianship schemes remain electrically safe and legally compliant, by delivering inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in accordance with UK regulations. The role supports building safety, habitability, and the company’s statutory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across all properties within required timescales
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and all relevant electrical safety legislation
- Identify, prioritise, and remediate electrical safety risks
- Maintain accurate test certificates and compliance documentation
- Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance and repairs
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Work on 3-phase distribution and commercial power systems, including emergency lighting certification
- Respond to electrical faults impacting safety, security, or building operations
- Ensure properties are electrically compliant prior to guardian occupation
- Support audits, recommend system improvements, and monitor regulatory changes

Requirements:
- Full UK Drivers License
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in domestic or residential environments.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391/2394/2395)
Salary: Up to £60k
