Electrician – Permanent Role

💰 Your Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: £38,270.09 (with annual review)
- OOH pay: £864 per week when on-call

🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical systems (boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, HVAC units)
- Oversee rewiring, testing, and inspections to guarantee safety and compliance
- Diagnose issues efficiently and deliver high-quality, prompt solutions
- Manage materials, track work accurately, and adhere to safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure homes meet legal standards
🧩 Requirements
We’re looking for:
- Proven experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent formulated skills
- City & Guilds Electrical Testing & Inspection Certification
- NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
- AM2 qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong practical knowledge of British legislation and provable health-and-safety best practices
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Commitment to Bromford’s values and eagerness to represent our organisational mission positively
- Full driving licence (clean CRB)
- Proactive attitude and flexibility to accommodate on-site varying needs and geographical travel
