Senior Utilities Electrician (Permanent)

£38,270.09 + £864/week OOH || 40 hours || Company Van & Tools

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and electrical repairs across domestic and commercial properties
  • Maintaining and diagnosing faults in systems including:
    • Boiler controls & electrical systems
    • Pumps & lighting (domestic & communal)
    • Hot water systems & HVAC units
  • Conducting rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure health & safety compliance
  • Delivering efficient repairs with quick diagnosis and quality assurance
  • Managing materials and precisely recording work in line with regulatory standards
  • Adhering to customer service excellence to ensure homes are safe and habitable

What We’re Looking For

✔ Experience with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent time served ✔ City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate ✔ NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Preparation ✔ AM2 Certification (preferred but not essential) ✔ Thorough knowledge of power industry legislation and best practices ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) ✔ Commitment to Bromford’s values and strong customer service orientation ✔ Full, clean driving licence (essential for company van use) ✔ Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel needs ✔ Basic DBS check (arranged by BFL)
