About British Gas

We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers—one team of 21,000 colleagues driving a greener, fairer future by building an energy system that phases out dependence on fossil fuels. At the heart of us lies a powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities.

About Your Team: British Gas

Our mission here is clear—sell energy and ensure it’s delivered safely.

With over 200 years of experience supplying energy across the UK, we’re not just about provision. We’re fixing the UK’s homes and businesses, but identify a bigger goal: greening and improving energy efficiency. Utilising smart tech like effective thermostats, heat pumps, rooftop solar panels, and EV chargers, we’re working hard to make sustainability cheaper and simpler for customers.

About Your Role: Electrician

We’re seeking skilled Electricians to join our valued Field Engineering Team. This is about ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality electrical work exactly when needed. Our commitment to our customers is unwavering — and as an Electrician, you will play a vital role in delivering same-day fixes and maintaining high electrical safety standards in homes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
