About Us
Harworth Electrical LTD is a Doncaster-based, NICEIC-approved electrical contractor with over 55 years of experience, specialising in electrical installation, testing and inspection, and hazardous area (Compex) electrical work across the UK.
About the Role
We're looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team. You don't need to be Compex certified — if you hold your BS2391, we'll sponsor you through the full Compex training course based in Yeovil. The role involves travelling to client sites across the UK Monday to Friday, with frequent overnight stays. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation work to BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards
- Perform testing and inspection, completing EICRs and certification to BS2391 standards
- Carry out hazardous area (Compex) electrical work once trained
- Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works safely and efficiently
- Complete all site documentation and test certificates accurately
- Maintain a professional manner with clients and colleagues on site
- Adhere to Health & Safety legislation at all times

Requirements
Essential:
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- BS2391 — Inspection and Testing
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to Work in the UK — no sponsorship or VISA support available
- Willing to travel across the UK Monday to Friday, including occasional overnight stays

- CSCS card
- First Aid at Work certificate
What We Offer
- Starting salary from £40,000 per annum, increasing to £43,000+ upon achieving Compex certification
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Fully sponsored Compex training and certification (based in Yeovil)
