Duration: Perm
Hours: 38 hrs per week with option of overtime when available
Rate: £2.45ph + 80p 2nd tier payment, radius allowance
Worley is currently recruiting for an Electrician. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team on the P66 E&I.
Purpose/Role
- To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent service in the role of electrician in accordance with project/company requirements, standards, and procedures
- To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule
- To ensure that the work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, process or environment.

- To Isolate, Install and then Test & Inspect Electrical and Instrument Equipment within Hazardous Areas. This will include upgrades to existing equipment as well as new installs.
- Read, understand, and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements at all times.
- Ability to read, understand, update and red line workpacks and all associated documents/drawings and deliver the works, in accordance with schedules and procedures, to a high standard.
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Assume the role of a nominated person/Permit holder and take a leading role in Projects as required.
- Carry out detailed ATEX inspections of installed Equipment.

Qualifications - Internal
Essential
Qualifications and Certification required:
- Time Served/Electrical Apprenticeship/NVQ3/
- JIB
- 18th Edition
- CCNSG Card/Safety Passport
Desirable
- 2391 test and inspection
- Comp Ex 1-4
Ideally All Candidates Must Have The Following Experience
- Demonstrable experience within this type of working environment/industry, post electrical apprenticeship/training, with current relevant experience in all aspects of electrical installation, isolation, reinstatement, and testing associated with ’Ex’ rated electrical equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrable commitment to always working safely.
- Flexible – able to comply with company and project requirements.
- Ability to work with other team members / disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment.
- Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised working on own initiative.
- Has a desire to learn and develop within the role.
