Job Title: Electrician

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary: To £39,729

An Exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team of skilled electrical engineers working on some of our high-profile projects. You’ll be based from our hub in Walsall but have a remit that covers the UK, working on projects for our biggest customers. These projects can vary from multi-million pounds right down to simple kiosk fit outs, so you’ll be working with our clients in the public and private sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning.

IWS M&E mitigates and manages risk from mechanical and electrical failures for a wide range of customers in the public and private sectors throughout the UK.

An established Principle Contractor and Designer within the MEICA Process sector, IWS M&E’s specialisms include pump diagnostics and refurbishment, turn-key project management, chemical dosing and control, and plant and infrastructure maintenance with emergency response.

The Role

Installing a wide range of Industrial Electrical Equipment along with associated wiring systems relating to pumping plant. Communicating with team members, supervisors, customers, and others to coordinate electrical installation activities. Ensuring all work is to the highest quality, in line with electrical regulations and H&S compliant. Testing all electrical equipment and installations.

What You’ll Need

Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering Inspection and Testing experience. Comprehensive knowledge of three phase systems. Must be able to complete works under deadlines and to a high standard. A full driving license and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
