Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in West Yorkshire. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including new circuits, distribution boards, lighting upgrades, and fault finding across industrial, commercial, retail, education, and public sector sites. Day-to-day tasks include planned and reactive maintenance, such as emergency lighting testing, fire alarm servicing, and compliance checks, while ensuring all work aligns with NICEIC standards and relevant regulations. The role also involves supporting EV charging installations, CCTV, access control systems, and LED lighting upgrades, working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable solutions. The Electrician will complete documentation, communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement of site safety and performance.

- Candidates should possess strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including safe installation and testing of circuits and equipment.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, with experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, and planned/reactive maintenance on a variety of systems.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to industrial, commercial, and domestic installations.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with EV charging systems, CCTV, access control, LED lighting, and data cabling, or be willing to develop these skills.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and valid BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) certification are preferred. 2391-52 would be beneficial.
- Experience working to NICEIC or equivalent standards, with strong knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work independently or in a team, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to work across different sites when required.
