Facilities Technician – Solus (Aviva Group)
About the Role
Join Solus, one of the UK’s leading vehicle repair providers, and take on a dynamic role as a Facilities Technician across multiple sites nationwide. This exciting opportunity involves electrical maintenance, installations, plumbing, decoration, and emergency repairs while providing accommodation, travel, and a company van.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all electrical maintenance and installation tasks across UK-based sites
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including basic plumbing, ground maintenance, and decorative works
- Respond to emergency works as required to ensure operational continuity
- Support project work and annual compliance checks, including EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and PAT (Portable Appliance Testing)
- Collaborate with the Facilities team to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient operations across locations

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
✅ NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, or City & Guilds Level 3 ✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable) ✅ Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance ✅ Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel across the UK ✅ Problem-solving mindset and strong team player attitude
