This hands-on, field-focused role sits within our UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies across the UK.
About the Job
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Nottingham team, offering diverse and varied work where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, and maintain water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites
- Conduct site inspections, fault-finding, and prepare survey reports for quotations
- Work from technical instructions using mobile electronic devices
- Operate in dangerous environments, including:
- Heights
- Confined spaces
- Outdoor settings (all weather conditions)
- Travel nationwide with regular overnight stays
- Occasionally support workshop operations at other UK locations
- Collaborate closely with other trades and field teams

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition qualification
- JIB Gold Card
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
Desirable Qualities
- A safety-first attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to work away from home
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow technical instructions with precision
- A proactive, reliable, and positive work ethic
