This hands-on, field-focused role sits within our UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies across the UK.


About the Job

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Nottingham team, offering diverse and varied work where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, commission, and maintain water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites
  • Conduct site inspections, fault-finding, and prepare survey reports for quotations
  • Work from technical instructions using mobile electronic devices
  • Operate in dangerous environments, including:
    • Heights
    • Confined spaces
    • Outdoor settings (all weather conditions)
  • Travel nationwide with regular overnight stays
  • Occasionally support workshop operations at other UK locations
  • Collaborate closely with other trades and field teams

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • JIB Gold Card
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
