Electrician
Full Time | Permanent | Up to £43,000 DOE
Covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and surrounding areas
Company Van and Tools Provided
Responsive Repairs Team – 40 hours weekly worked on an 8-week rota as per below:
- Shift Pattern 1 - Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (including 1 hour lunch)
- Shift Pattern 2 – Monday & Wednesday 11am-8pm. Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8am - 5pm
- Shift Pattern 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-12noon, Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm
Join bpha's In-House Maintenance Service and help us deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service that makes a real difference to our customers every day.
We're looking for a qualified, customer-focused Electrician to carry out repairs, installations, testing, and fault finding in occupied homes and void properties. If you take pride in delivering excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Electrical repairs, maintenance, and small installation works
- Installation of new circuits and alterations of existing circuits where required
- Consumer unit replacements
- Inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations, completing electrical Installation certificates, minor works certificates, electrical installation condition reports, and all associated documentation to a high standard.
- Fault finding and remedial works
- Working safely in line with current BS 7671 wiring regulations
- Delivering a first-class service in customers' homes
- Collaborating with other trades on refurbishment projects

What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM2
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Strong experience in domestic electrical work, repairs, and fault finding
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
