Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Electrician will carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and refurbishment work in commercial, retail, and residential properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

  • All aspects of electrical installation works
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Collaborating with site managers and other trades
  • Completing accurate documentation and reports
  • Supporting project delivery timelines
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Upholding NICEIC and H&H Electrical Limited quality requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of wiring, circuits, and equipment.
  • Skills in maintenance & repair to perform routine servicing and corrective work on electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting abilities to identify, assess, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles to understand system design, load requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), valid industry certifications, and up-to-date knowledge of UK wiring regulations (BS 7671).
  • Proven experience in commercial, retail, or residential refurbishment projects, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a site team, with good communication, time management, and record-keeping skills.
  • Health and safety awareness, including adherence to risk assessments, method statements, and use of appropriate PPE.
