Facilities Technician – Full-Time Role – UK Nationwide
Overview
An exciting travel-heavy opportunity to join Solus, a UK leader in vehicle repairs owned by Aviva, as a Facilities Technician across our sites. This role requires候选人 to lead electrical maintenance and support new builds/refurbishments while visiting multiple locations across the UK.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Facilities Technician to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our UK-wide infrastructure, working on-site at various locations.

Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance & Installation
- Lead all electrical maintenance and installation tasks across UK sites, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- General Facilities Upkeep
- Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and basic plumbing, ground maintenance, and decorative works.
- Emergency & Compliance Support
- Address emergency works as required.
- Support project works and annual compliance checks (e.g., EICR, PAT testing).
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Facilities team to promote safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Professional Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 and/or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
- Practical Experience
- Vocational experience in facilities/maintenance or related industries.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Attitude & Skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong team player mentality.
