The Role
As a Bauer Media Outdoor Electrician, you must be:
- Qualified to C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Trained to 18th Edition regulations
- Capable of ensuring all electrical work for our advertising infrastructure in the Southeast of England is carried out to health and safety standards, within necessary timescales
Key responsibilities include:
- Targeted travel to our Sawtry depot once per week with regular hours in areas such as Colchester, Braintree, North Essex, and Harlow.
- Salary: £44,650 per year
- Fully expensed company vehicle

Tasks & Duties
- Electrical testing & wiring of digital sites
- Common yearly checks on all infrastructure
- Fault-finding: Identify, investigate, and resolve issues
- Replacing fuses, tubes, and lighting systems
- Using handheld technology to record work
- Accurate stock control – manage and record stock usage per site
Requirements
- Trained to 18th Edition IEE or current electrical regulations
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2395 Inspection & Testing (nice-to-have!)
- Current UK driving licence holder
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
- Ability to work at height
- Flexible attitude (open to on-call duties and overtime).
