Electricians & Improvers (20–30 positions available)
We are recruiting for long-term roles on a project in Reading, with a guaranteed minimum of 1 year’s work.
Scope of Work
- Electrical work across office blocks
- Installation and maintenance of lighting & small power systems
- Cable terminations
- Containment installations
Hours & Pay Structure
Regular Working Hours
- 10-hour days, Monday to Friday

Saturday Working Transparency
- 8 hours on Saturdays (with a timesheet premium of x1.5)
Hourly Rates
- Electricians: £30 per hour
- Improvers: £24 per hour
- Lodge allowance: £60 per day
Requirements
- Electricians:
- Valid JIB Gold Card required
- Improvers:
- Valid ECS White Card required
- Both roles:
- Acceptable DBS check (basic level)
- BPSS form approved (Mercury Hampton Contract provides support through this process)
