Electrician's Mate – Industrial Installation Project
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Electrician's Mate to join an established electrical contractor working on a large industrial installation project. This role will involve supporting qualified electricians with the installation of cable containment systems, including cable basket, on a busy industrial site.
About the Role
- Assisting electricians with the installation of cable basket and containment systems.
- Measuring, cutting, and fixing the cable basket to specification.
- Loading and unloading materials and tools.
- Supporting cable pulling and general electrical installation activities.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Working effectively as part of a site-based installation team.

Responsibilities
The candidate will provide essential hands-on support in the installation process, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Requirements
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on industrial or commercial projects.
- Experience installing cable basket, tray, trunking, or containment systems (advantageous).
- ECS/CSCS Card is essential.
- Ability to work from drawings and follow instructions from supervisors and electricians.
- Strong understanding of site health and safety.
- Own PPE and basic hand tools preferred.
