Electro-Mechanical Coil Winder
Electro-Mechanical Assembler – Full-Time Role
Scope of Role
- Build electro-mechanical assemblies to technical drawings, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and CMMs (Coordinated Measuring Machines)
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Upgrade and repair existing electro-mechanical assemblies
- Maintain equipment used in electronic assembly
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Core Tasks
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly work, including fan, motor, and/or heater assembly, to drawings and/or CMMs
- Use basic hand tools (e.g., torque drivers) and measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers)
- Assemble parts or units in accordance with specifications, ensuring they meet:
- Quality standards
- Proper functional integrity (e.g., drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, lapping, buffing, lubrication)
- Connect cables and wires as per specifications
- Conduct testing and inspections to detect and troubleshoot potential issues
- Follow all company manufacturing procedures and complete required documentation

Collaboration & Compliance
- Provide customer and visitor support, including explaining operations, parts construction or work processes to internal and external stakeholders (commercial visitors, suppliers, etc.)
- Promote clear communication across all levels of operation
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) activities for quality and efficiency
- Must use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when provided
Supporting Duties
- Deliver all work on time to meet company manufacturing targets
- Take on ad hoc tasks, including:
- Training colleagues in line with local skills matrix
- Department-related tasks
- Short-term secondments to other production or support departments

Compensation
- Salary range: Market based, pay determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and location
- Currency: GBP
- Incentives: Standard market-based incentives
