Role Overview
Own end-to-end electronics design for a growing range of wearable products, from schematic capture and PCB layout through firmware, prototyping and validation. Reporting to the Head of Technology, this is a broad, hands-on role where you will shape how products get built.
What You'll Own
Design and Development
- Schematic capture and PCB design across digital and analogue circuits
- Embedded firmware development in C and C++
- Analogue design work including filters, op-amps and signal processing
- Wireless and digital comms integration, including BLE and USB

Prototyping and Support
- Building proof-of-concept hardware and evaluation prototypes
- Debugging and validation testing
- Ongoing maintenance and support of products already in the field
- Evaluating new technologies for future product lines
What skills you'll need
- Hands-on experience as an electronics design engineer, ideally in commercial product development
- Embedded firmware experience in C and C++
- Digital circuit design including schematic capture, circuit analysis and PCB layout
- Analogue design experience: filters, op-amps, signal processing
- Experience with wireless or digital comms protocols such as BLE and USB
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with practical prototyping and validation ability
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle
