The Role

You'll be involved in the design, development and validation of electronic hardware, working closely with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality products from concept through to manufacture.

Responsibilities

  • Design analogue and digital electronic circuits.
  • Produce schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams.
  • Support prototype builds, testing and validation.
  • Develop production test equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Produce engineering documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and EMC standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' electronics design experience.
  • Experience with PCB design and ECAD software.
  • Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes and electronic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of CANbus, SPI, I2C or UART is beneficial.
  • Power electronics experience would be an advantage.
  • Exposure to SPICE, C or Python is desirable.
