RF Test Engineer / Electronics Test Engineer required to join a growing technology company based in Fareham.
Working within a collaborative engineering and production team, you'll play a key role in the testing, fault diagnosis and validation of specialist RF communication products used by government, defence and security organisations around the world.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced test engineer looking for a varied, hands-on position where you'll work on technically interesting products, contribute to continuous improvement and become part of a growing business with an excellent reputation for quality and innovation.
The Role
As an RF Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for testing and fault-finding complex electronic and RF products throughout the production process, ensuring systems meet demanding quality standards before customer delivery.
Alongside RF testing and system validation, you'll support a variety of production activities, giving you exposure across the full manufacturing process while working closely with engineering colleagues to continually improve products and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Test, fault-find and repair specialist RF electronic products to board level
- Carry out final system configuration and functional testing
- Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analysers and signal generators
- Validate and improve production test procedures and processes
- Support mechanical assembly, cable assembly and wiring activities where required
- Assist with product kitting for both internal manufacture and subcontract production
- Work to agreed production schedules whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production and testing
What We're Looking For
You'll have previous experience working within an electronics or RF test environment and enjoy practical engineering and problem solving.

You'll ideally have experience of:
- RF electronics testing and fault diagnosis
- Radio communication products
- Spectrum analysers, signal generators and RF test equipment
- Board-level fault finding and repair
- Electronic production or manufacturing environments
- Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation
Experience in any of the following would also be advantageous:
- Product assembly
- Wiring and cable assembly
- Crimping techniques
- Production kitting MRP systems
A HND (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial, although candidates with relevant commercial experience are equally encouraged to apply.
