About the Role
We’re looking for someone to provide proactive, collaborative Quality Engineering support across Electronics Test, Inspection, Manufacturing, Design, and external suppliers to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality parts.
You will:
- Build strong relationships
- Promote a quality-driven approach
- Support continuous improvement in performance and capability
- Work closely with the Electronics Supplier Quality Engineer to develop and implement enhanced quality assurance processes
We are looking for someone who can:
- Deliver and maintain quality assurance strategies across internal and external manufacturing in line with leadership direction.
- Monitor and report manufacturing quality performance using data-driven and statistical methods.
- Manage NCRs and investigate issues, ensuring effective containment and resolution through structured problem-solving.
- Drive non-conformance resolution and supplier improvement using a risk-based, prioritised approach.
- Conduct audits and lead risk reduction activities, including data-led improvement projects and PFMEAs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support design for manufacture, onboard suppliers, strengthen processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing engineering or quality, with a strong electronics background.
- Proven use of preventative quality tools (DFM, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans) and structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Is/Is Not).
- Understanding of inspection techniques and equipment, with auditing experience desirable.
- Work collaboratively across all levels, building strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers while aligning with organisational values.
- Communicate effectively across the business, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
