Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 per annum+ depending on experience
Job Description: Sensor Technologies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team in Newton Abbot. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in PCB layout design, mixed-signal circuit design, and general PCB build and component design capability. Experience in RF or FPGA design is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Work on mixed-signal circuit design, including both analogue and digital components.
- Contribute to the entire electronics development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Develop firmware using Python, C++, or Java for embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers, to integrate electronics into final products.
- Perform testing, debugging, and validation of electronic circuits and firmware.
- Maintain documentation for designs, processes, and test results.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electronics engineering.
- Strong expertise in PCB layout design and general circuit board build.
- Experience in mixed-signal circuit design.
- Proficiency in firmware development using Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with the full electronics development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and validate electronic designs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
