Electronics Engineer – Qucs-S (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $50 – $120/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Junior Electronics Engineer (Qucs-S) to support circuit simulation and analysis using Qucs-S software. This role involves assisting with the development and validation of electronic circuits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in simulation workflows. Key tasks include troubleshooting errors and documenting technical findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and testing electronic circuit models in Qucs-S to ensure functionality and performance
- Analyze simulation results and identify discrepancies between expected and actual circuit behavior
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine simulation parameters and improve model accuracy
- Document simulation processes, test cases, and validation results for internal review
- Troubleshoot simulation errors and propose corrective actions to maintain workflow efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Qucs-S or similar software such as Qucs, LTspice, or SPICE-based tools
- Basic understanding of electronic circuit design principles, including passive and active components
- Ability to interpret simulation data and generate clear technical documentation
- Experience with PCB design tools or schematic capture is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in circuit analysis
