Role: Junior Electronics Engineer (Qucs-S) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Rate: $50 - $120/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Electronics Engineer–Qucs Specialisation to support circuit simulation and validation using Qucs-S software. This role involves collaborating on developing and verifying electronic circuits with a focus on precision and efficiency in simulation workflows. Key tasks include diagnosing simulation errors, refining modelling approaches, and creating thorough technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate electronic circuit models in Qucs-S, ensuring accurate simulation results.
- Analyze simulation findings to identify inconsistencies between simulated and real-world behaviour.
- Partner with senior engineers to optimize simulation parameters and enhance model fidelity.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of simulation workflows, test methodologies, and verification outcomes.
- Resolve simulation errors and propose solutions to streamline development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with Qucs-S or comparable tools (Qucs, LTspice, or SPICE workflows).
- Sound understanding of electronic circuit design, including both passive and active components.
- Ability to interpret simulation data and present findings in technical documentation.
- A plus for experience with PCB design software or schematic capture tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
