Lead a Team Delivering Innovative Electronics Solutions
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronics Team Leader to join a growing engineering organisation developing cutting-edge technology products for global markets.
This role offers the perfect blend of technical leadership and hands-on engineering involvement. You will lead a team responsible for developing electronics-based test solutions, automation systems and engineering tools that support the successful launch and manufacture of complex products.
Working across multiple projects, you'll provide technical guidance, drive engineering excellence and ensure your team delivers high-quality solutions on time and to specification.
The Opportunity
As Electronics Team Leader, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day management of a skilled engineering team and the delivery of innovative technical solutions. You'll work closely with design, software and manufacturing teams, helping bridge the gap between product development and production.

- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of electronics and development engineers.
- Managing project priorities, workload planning and resource allocation.
- Driving the design and development of electronic test equipment and automation solutions.
- Supporting the development of embedded firmware and PC-based engineering applications.
- Overseeing technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, manufacturability and testability.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production environments.
- Ensuring high standards of technical documentation, configuration control and engineering governance.
About You
You will be an experienced electronics professional with leadership capability and a passion for developing both technology and people.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
- Strong electronics knowledge, including analogue and digital circuitry.
- Experience working within a product development, manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Technical Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in several of the following areas:
- Electronics design and development
- Automated test systems and equipment
- Embedded firmware development
- C, C++ and/or C#
- Hardware and software integration
- Production or manufacturing engineering
- Linux-based development environments
- Fault finding, root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
