Electronics Technician
We're looking for an Electronics Technician who enjoys getting hands-on with technology, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and loves the challenge of diagnosing and solving technical problems. This is more than just a technician role. It's an opportunity to work on innovative products that are used in real-world applications across multiple industries worldwide.
BASIC SALARY: up to £42,000

Job Description
As part of our friendly and highly skilled production team, as our Electronics Technician, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards before they reach customers across the globe.

- Testing and verifying electronic products
- Fault-finding and repairing electronic assemblies down to component level
- Reworking and repairing failed units
- Building and assembling mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies
- Conducting optical inspections of products and components
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to help us work smarter and more efficiently
Person Specification
We're keen to meet people who are curious, practical, and enjoy working collaboratively with others.
You'll Ideally Have:
- A recognised qualification in Electronics (an apprenticeship background would be a bonus)
- Previous experience working as an Electronics Technician
- Experience assembling, testing, and repairing electronic products
- The ability to read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults to component level
- SMT soldering and rework experience
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude
It would be great if you also have experience with:
- Machine vision, computer vision, or camera systems
- Prototype builds and cable assembly
- PCB layouts and ECAD tools such as Altium
- CAD software such as SolidWorks or Solid Edge
- Regulated industries including Medical, Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive
