Overview
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to plan, lead and execute environmental testing and qualification activities across defence and aerospace programmes. The role will be hands-on and will focus on environmental, EMC, and EMI testing of complex electronic defence and aerospace systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute EMC and EMI test campaigns
- Support radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility testing
- Develop test procedures, reports, and compliance evidence
- Analyse EMC and environmental test data
- Support investigation and mitigation of EMC issues
Requirements
- Experience in EMC / EMI testing of electronic systems
- Understanding of EMC standards (MIL-STD-461, DEF STAN 59-411, CISPR)
- Experience processing and analysing test data
- Strong technical documentation skills

Preferred
- Experience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times
- Experience working with external EMC test houses
- Defence or aerospace background
