Elite 3E Developer

London, UK
6-month contract

We are working with a leading law firm to source an Elite 3E Developer to work on the development, customisation and optimisation of enterprise applications that drive operational efficiency and business performance. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while contributing to ongoing system improvements and best practice development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customise solutions within the Elite 3E platform to meet business requirements.
  • Design technical solutions from functional specifications and stakeholder requirements.
  • Build and maintain robust, scalable applications using VB.NET, SQL, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and contribute to technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks during design and development phases and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Produce clean, reusable, and maintainable code in line with development standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Document development work for both technical and business audiences.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for delivered solutions.
  • Work with external software vendors where required to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the development function.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience developing within Elite 3E (essential).
  • Strong experience with Elite 3E IDE (v2.7+).
  • Excellent knowledge of the .NET Framework, particularly VB.NET.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server / T-SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Experience delivering and supporting business-critical applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience working within professional services, finance, or legal sectors would be beneficial.

  • Elite 3E Templates and Design Gallery experience.
  • Azure DevOps knowledge.
  • Power Platform experience including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
