Elite 3E Senior Developer – Elite 3E IDE 2.7+, VB.net, XML, SQL, Azure DevOps
Outstanding permanent opportunity to join a Global Law Firm operating in 30 countries within their Group Finance Technology Team. We’re seeking a Senior Elite 3E Developer to lead in house customisation of Elite 3E PMS. If you’re an experienced Elite 3E developer who thrives on building high-performing enterprise solutions, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across a major global organisation.
About the Role:
You’ll design, build and optimise enterprise-grade software that improves staff productivity and strengthens financial performance. Working closely with Business Analysts, technical specialists and external vendors, you’ll deliver clean, robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best-practice development standards. This role is hands-on, technically challenging and central to the evolution of the Elite 3E practice management platform.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead in-house customisation and development within Elite 3E (experience essential).
- Build performant, scalable solutions using VB.Net, SQL, XML, XSLT and XPath.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and functional experts to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, guiding complex technical and business discussions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the design process.
- Produce structured, reusable, well-documented code aligned with coding standards and quality controls.
- Champion development best practices and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to colleagues across the Global Finance Group.
- Work directly with external vendors (particularly Elite) to implement and troubleshoot 3E solutions.
Experience Required:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Elite 3E IDE (2.7+).
- Strong knowledge of VB.Net,.NET Framework, XML, XSLT, XPath.
- Excellent experience with MS Fabric and medallion architecture.
- SQL Server (T-SQL) proficiency.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Logic Apps, Power Automate) highly advantageous.
- Elite 3E Templates / Design Gallery experience a strong plus.
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Services beneficial.
- Prior experience in Finance or Legal environments advantageous.
- Strong understanding of software development techniques for business-critical systems.
- Analytical, inquisitive and able to diagnose complex issues.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Collaborative communicator who shares knowledge openly.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
