The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively introduce and promote exhibition opportunities to senior decision-makers within global organisations through targeted outbound (cold) calling, while also engaging and converting warm leads
- Build, maintain, and continuously develop a strong pipeline of prospective exhibitors
- Travel internationally to other exhibitions to pitch new business, meet existing clients, and strengthen business relationships in person
- Accurately manage and update client interactions and sales activity using the company CRM system (Salesforce)
- Effectively handle objections and negotiate to secure new business
- Manage prospects throughout the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- A highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven approach with a persuasive sales style
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in a telephone-based sales role, with a confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Adaptability and flexibility, able to employ a range of sales techniques to close deals
- Resilience and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, including CEOs and Presidents
