Gilmartins is expanding, and we are looking for the very best operatives in the industry to join us as an Elite Operative.

Who We Are Recruiting
Experienced, high-performing tradespersons across the South East London area (including Kennington, Streatham, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Southwark, Lambeth). Must be willing to work in all specified areas.
We are hiring for the following trade:
Job Title: Domestic Electrician
Requirements:
- Qualified to 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent electrician qualification)
- BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification

This Role Is Not for Everyone
The Elite Operative role comes with strict standards, accountability, and responsibility. Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Consistently exceed KPI performance
- Maintain high-quality inspection scores
- Demonstrate excellent reliability and punctuality
- Keep vechan stock organised and controlled
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
- Follow all health and safety and asbestos procedures
- Use technology and PDAs correctly
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Take ownership of jobs from start to finish

Experience Required
Applicants must have:
- Proven experience in social housing reactive maintenance
- Relevant trade qualifications for domestic electricians
- Full manual driving licence (automatic vans not available)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in occupied properties
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
