About the Role
We are building the best trade team in social housing repairs—and we need the very best operatives to be part of it.

Gilmartins is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for experienced, high-performing operatives based across South East London (covering Kennington, Streatham, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Southwark, Lambeth), with a commitment to travel and work across these areas.
Role Overview
We are recruiting across the following specialisms:
- Plumbers with multi-trade skills:
- Basic carpentry & electrics
- Patch plastering
- Tiling
Compensation & Benefits
- £50,000 basic salary – Competitive and reflective of our high standards
- Permanent, full-time employment with monthly pay
- Company van and fuel card (business use only—personal use strictly prohibited)

Experience & Minimum Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Proven success in social housing reactive maintenance
- Relevant trade qualifications (where applicable)
- Full manual driving licence (automatic vans are not available)
- Robust communication skills—both verbal and written
- Occupied-property experience: Comfortable working in busy domestic environments
- Handling pressure: Managing heavy workloads and failures without compromise
